Hjgroup.ca is a custom PHP and Vue.js site I built for Markham, Ontario-based insurance brokerage Harry James Group. This site is relatively simple; it includes a blog, PDF downloads, quote submission forms/buttons, and basic informational pages.

This site had no CMS requirements so I was able to experiment with building a totally custom PHP site, with Vue.js sprinkled into some templates for interactivity. I have found that this site loads a lot faster than open-source PHP CMS’ like WordPress as a result.

This type of site architecture is definitely something I would attempt again, should it fit the project.
