During the spring months of 2018, I developed a new non-profit site for Canadian charity Village Impact (formerly known as World Teacher Aid). This excellent charity builds schools in rural parts of Kenya and is run by a wonderful group of people.

I rebuilt their site based on an existing WordPress installation and set them up with a new custom theme. This site is fairly basic, but makes use of Google Maps, Stripe for processing donations, and some other software. The site also includes custom event donation pages for processing paper-based donations internally that are received at fundraising events.

This project was fun to work on – I find that it’s important to help non-profit agencies with tech work as they often cannot afford quality web work when compared with for-profit businesses.

I completed both the front end and back end development of this site, as well as the design.
